About William Henig

Rockland County Divorce and Family Law Attorney

Family law can be complex and contentious. Criminal charges can carry severe and sometimes unforeseen consequences. The decisions you make today may affect your finances, your children, your freedom and your life for years to come. One of the most important decisions is the attorney you choose to represent you.

My name is William Henig. I practice primarily in divorce and custody law. I also handle criminal defense. I practice in these areas of the law because I have a passion for helping people. I also had a background in family law before I opened my own practice. As a Kings County prosecutor in family court in Child Protective Services cases, I handled more than three hundred hearings and trials.

As a lawyer, my clients come first. I take the time to listen to them, and I try to put myself in their shoes. I keep in mind that family conflicts and criminal accusations create considerable stress and anxiety, and I try to give people some peace of mind that I can help and that things will get better. I am not here just to take people's money. I fight for my clients, and I work hard to put them in the best position for a positive outcome.

My practice serves individuals throughout Rockland County and in neighboring communities of Orange and Sullivan counties. I invite you to contact me today for a free, confidential consultation, no matter how complex your divorce or custody case, no matter what criminal charges you are facing.
